Making Flags and Banners

DigiTex - Digital Printing Digitex - Digital Printing

Our newest addition to our production facility is our direct to fabric digital printer. This new printer has allowed Flags Unlimited to be the leader and champion of the newest technology in the flag and banner manufacturing industry.  The benefits to the customer are: no length restrictions, a high resolution print, striking colours, a faster turnaround time, and a very competitive price.

Zimmer - Screen PrintingScreen Printing - Dispersed Dye

We print on an automated flat-bed printer with 7 spot color capability, as well as superior 4 color process and ½ tone registration. Our Zimmer printing press can print up to 400 yards of fabric per hour. We also have the largest finishing line in North America. A finishing line heat sets, washes and dries the fabric, locking in the color. Our finishing line has the highest capacity in North America washing up to 14 yards of fabric per minute.

TrueDye® - Dye sublimation printing  TrueDye - Dye sublimation printing

The Dye sublimation process involves first printing the design of the flag on special paper then using a heat transfer press to migrate the colours from the paper to the fabric.  This process provides vivid colours and the sharpest edges.  The ability to capture the smallest detail is incredible, and the photographic images re-produced are unbelievable.

Applique - Fabric on fabric. Applique - Fabric on fabric

This is the original way to make a flag or banner. Our skilled sewing team takes incredible pride in hand  sewing every stitch of fabric for a beautiful, luxurious flag.  Our customers love this option as the appearance is a three dimensional layering of fabric with the highest quality imaginable.
