Flags Unlimited Appoints Robert Mauro as new President

New President will build upon a rich legacy, leading Flags Unlimited—Canada’s largest flag maker—in their vision of becoming a North American leader in printed sustainable flags and banners

Barrie, Ontario. December 21, 2022. Flags Unlimited is pleased to announce that Robert Mauro has been named the new President of the company. An experienced business leader, Robert assumed the responsibilities of President on August 2, 2022, and will succeed Flags Unlimited co-owners Brian Naish and Matt Skipp.

“When Brian and I bought Flags Unlimited three plus years ago, we knew it was a fabulous business, but we also knew it needed to be modernized. With that process almost complete, we decided that this would be the perfect time to bring in a new leader.” said Matt Skipp. “We are confident that Rob has the right skill set and personality to lead Flags Unlimited forward, onto bigger and better things”

Robert is a respected and visionary leader with high emotional intelligence and a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams. With years of broad leadership experience, Robert previously held senior operational and financial positions with several well-known brands in the hospitality, consumer packaged goods, packaging, automotive, and printing industries. In these roles, Robert was responsible for developing vision, strategy and action plans that drove sustainable growth and profitability. His motivating leadership, results-oriented outlook, and promotion of collaboration will generate momentum for Flags Unlimited with an emphasis on long-term growth.
