Seeing the Canada flag flying high is always great to see. I have to say I'm particularly in awe when I see them in places surrounded by such incredible natural beauty. Sometimes it can also leave you mystified, wondering how the flagpole got there?
Well, here is some insight on one pole. I was going through some old stuff today and found this video from last Summer. You can't watch it and not be proud of these anonymous gentlemen. It's no small feat moving flagpoles around, nevermind carrying up the side of a cliff through a forest! But it's all in the name of patriotism. It's pretty cool to think Flags Unlimited supplied the flags for Operation Red Revival. Stories like this just make us so proud to be Canadian! Cheers to these guys and to the people who put the flag there originally.
